KARACHI: Four matches of the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played in Karachi.

The decision of organizing four PSL 3 matches in Karachi was taken in a meeting between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

The matches will be played in February 2018.

Speaking on the occasion, Murad Ali Shah said that Karachi is a peaceful city and international cricketing events should be contested in Karachi. He added that all efforts are being made to bring cricket back to Karachi's National Stadium.

"It is the right of Karachiites to watch international cricket," he added.

He added that complete security will be provided to the teams visiting Karachi. "Will accompany the teams from Jinnah Airport to the hotel if they want," he said.
