LAHORE: With no more online tickets left for Tuesday’s World XI matches against Pakistan, cricket fans are desperate to join in on the action inside Gaddafi Stadium.

The Bank of Punjab branches were opened on Sunday especially to sale the tickets, but, to the dismay of many, no low-priced tickets were available. Finding no option, the cricket-lovers purchased Rs.4,000 and Rs.6,000 tickets.

The low-priced tickets, that have already been sold out online, were available for Rs.500 and Rs.2,500.

The Rs.4,000 ticket is for Abdul Qadir, Rameez Raja, Javed Miandad and Hafeez Kardar enclosure tickets.

The most expensive tickets will be for Fazal Mehmood, Imran Khan, Waseem Akram and Waqar Younis enclosures costing Rs.6,000 to Rs.8000.

The three-match T-20 series (Independence Cup) will be played on September 12, 13 and 15 September at the Gaddafi Stadium. – Samaa
