NEW YORK: An American magazine has revealed the list of ten World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstars with the highest salary in the company.
Forbes released the list according to the estimates for the calendar year 2016 and the company’s public filing, booking contracts and pay documents along with interview costs.
“The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar was the top earning superstar with a yearly salary of $12 million followed by “The Champ” John Cena stood at second place with $8 million.
Chief Operating Officer of the WWE and “The Game” Triple H was third with earnings of $3.8 million while “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns was at fourth with earnings of $3.5 million.
“The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose was placed at No.5 with earnings of $2.7 million and “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles was at No.6 with yearly pay of $2.4 million.
The seventh position was taken by one of WWE’s principal owners and Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon, who has a yearly salary of $2.2 million.
“The Deadman” The Undertaker and “The Architect” Seth Rollins shared the eighth spot as both are earning $2 million on a yearly basis in the WWE.
The tenth place was taken by “The Viper” Randy Orton who is earning $1.9 million per year in the company.
