KARACHI: Waseem Akhtar, the mayor of Karachi, has urged Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to shift Pakistan Super League’s final from Lahore to Karachi.
“I offer @TheRealPCB to hold #PSL2017 Final in #Karachi, we will cooperate in every way, if it happens it will be a Great Success,” he said on Twitter.

Earlier, while addressing an event in Karachi, Waseem Akhtar offered his all out assistance for organization and security, if the tournament’s final is shifted to Karachi.
“As a mayor of Karachi, I request PCB to hold the final at Karachi Stadium, if they think it appropriate. I’m available to take the responsibly of organization and security of the event,” he said.
The final match of ongoing PSL tournament has been scheduled at Lahore, as vowed by Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board’s Executive Committee, Najam Sathi. - Samaa
