LAHORE: The chances of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Lahore final have enhanced as the league administration has kick-started the preparations for the final showdown in Lahore.
It should be mentioned here that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will make a conclusive decision in this regard today.
It is pertinent to note here that 16-member foreign cameramen team could not get clearance thus far as an application to this effect is pending at the ministry of internal affairs.
Yesterday, PSL Chairman Najam Sethi reiterated his resolve to hold the final of the event in Lahore in spite of security concerns.
In a message on Twitter, Sehti said that he met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to discuss security for the PSL’s final.
He, however, said that PCB would continue to monitor and review situation in this regard.
“I just met CM Punjab. We are on track for PSL final in Lahore. But we shall continue to monitor and review situation,” Sethi tweeted.
The final of the PSL will take place at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 5, but recent terrorist attacks in the country have raised security concerns among foreign players. –SAMAA
