NZ need 105 runs to win against Pakistan in first Test

CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan have set 105 runs target against the host team New Zealand in the first Test match at Hagley Oval.

Pakistan’s Sohail Khan was the top scorer with 40 runs while opener Azhar Ali included his 31 runs in the second innings of the first Test.

New Zealand in charge as Pakistan struggles ahead

New Zealand’s fast bowlers Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Neil Wagner took three wickets while Colin de Grandhomme, who picked up the six wickets in the first innings, dismissed just one player in the second innings.

Pakistan were all out for 171 runs in the second innings. – Samaa
