LONDON: England’s Prime Minister David Cameron gave a warm welcome to Pakistan men and women’s cricket teams for their tour to England.

Pakistan’s men team will face England in four Tests, five ODIs and a T20I. The women’s team will play each other in three ODIs and three T-20Is. In an Instagram post, Cameron also said about improvement in the ties and links between the two nations, as well as hoping England can tour Pakistan in near future.

He said, “And I hope that one day in the not too distant future I will be able to wish the England cricket team a successful tour of Pakistan.”

The last time these two teams met was in October 2015 at Abu Dhabi. In that tour, Pakistan won the Test series 2-0, but faltered in the ODIs and T20Is. – SAMAA
