SHARJAH: Peshawar Zalimi defeated Karachi Kings by 3 runs in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match here on Thursday.

Karachi Kings Kings needed 13 runs off last over after getting in commanding position as Bopara and Sohail Tanvir punished Shaun Tait in 18th over of the game.

However, Zalmi fought back in 19th over as Wahab Riaz sent Tanvir back to the pavilion. Kings were four runs away from their victory as they needed four runs off 1 ball with Muhammad Amir facing Sammy.

Amir, however, failed to hit the boundary. Zalmi have won the third match out of four. Muhammad Hafeez was man of the match who scored 59 off 39.-SAMAA
