The 23-year-old believed that the PSL would help youngsters to furnish their capabilities, tweeting ‘ths PSL will help the youngsters to learn a lot.’

He said that those criticizing the move by PCB for holding PSL at the neutral venue in Qatar by ‘digging things deep down’ they need to know exact information first and stop damaging Pakistan cricket.

Ahmed, who is also the only Pakistani to score centuries in all formats of the game, was of the view that promotion of PSL would silence the haters.
