KARACHI: Cricket legend Wasim Akram on Sunday hailed Sindh police for conducting a quick probe into his roadside brawl and subsequent firing incident.

“I am thankful to police and Rangers for their support. Police have been very professional,” Akram told media persons in Karachi, where he was supervising a bowling camp for young pacers.

Commenting on cricket matters, he said that England series would be the real test for Team Pakistan.

“Players are getting strong mentally, but their real test will be against England,” he said.

Akram insisted that youth must join support for their mental and physical fitness.

To a question, he said that even a vice captain can be dropped from the team if needed. He, however, said that Sarfraz Ahmed was a very good player.  – SAMAA
