KARACHI: A Pakistan-India cricket series next year is likely to be played on Pakistani venues, Samaa reported Friday.
Sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board informed Samaa that both the traditional cricketing rivals have agreed to the series most probably to be hosted by Pakistan.
Two Tests, five ODIs and three T-20s may be played in the series, likely slotted for December 2015, the sources said.
Furthermore Samaa also learnt that Pakistan, in all likelihood, would tour India in 2017.
India have not played a full series with Pakistan since the 2008 terror attacks on Mumbai.
Pakistan did play a short limited over series in India in December 2012 but a full tour has yet to be finalized. Moreover, Pakistan have not hosted any international cricket since attacks on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore five years ago.–SAMAA
