Former Pakistan cricketers term SA series challenging

Staff ReportLAHORE: Former Pakistani cricketers said that the upcoming series against South Africa will be ‘challenging' for the national team, SAMAA reports on Thursday.Talking to media here at the National Cricket Academy, former leg sinner Abdul Qadir hoped that experienced spinners of the team can play a vital role in the series for Pakistan.'Pakistani spinners can bowl out strong South African batting line,’ he said.Former Pakistani captain and coach Intikhab Alam said that the series against SA is a challenge and the national team must work hard for victory.Both teams will play two Tests, five one-day internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 internationals here. First test will start on Oct. 14, 2013.Pakistan team for the SA tour includes Khurram Manzoor, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Umar Amin, Adnan Akmal (wk), Saeed Ajmal, Zulfiqar Babar, Abdur Rehman, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan, Rahat Ali. – SAMAA
