Sindh Games marred by excessive heat

Staff Report

KARACHI: The Karachi softball team managed to get second position despite excessive heat prevailing in the province.

Players, mostly children, complained of lack of facilities.

One member of the girls' softball team said, “Proper facilities should be provided at the next Games.”

An officials of the Games said, “Next time they should be held in cooler weather in the month of November or December.”

Maybe new talent would have surfaced if the Games had been held in cooler months. SAMAA
