ISLAMABAD: A spokesperson of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) on Saturday said, Pakistan will extend all facilities for development of kabaddi in Iran.

The spokesman was commenting on the understanding reached in this behalf between Iranian Ambassador Masha’llah Shakeri and Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Sports, Pir Aftab Shah Jilani.

PKF spokesperson said that the PKF had already sent a coach to Iran, who was doing useful work there and hopes to achieve better results with the Iranian outfit in the upcoming international kabaddi tournaments.

“We will be ready to provide all facilities to the Iranian kabaddi players including their training with our national team,” the spokesperson added.

Iranian Ambassador Mashallah Shakeri had sought the help of the PKF for the promotion of kabaddi in his country during his meeting with the Pakistan Sports Minister Pir Aftab Shah Jilani. -AGENCIES
