ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Wednesday clarified some reports in the media that cricketers, who took part in last November’s Hong Kong Super Sixes Tournament, are yet to get their dues from the board.
This is to clarify that payments are only made to players when the amount is received from the host. The payment of $18,000 after deducting tax at 12%, amounting to $15,830, was received from Hong Kong Sixes organizers on Tuesday.
“Directions have been given to the accounts department to disburse the amount to players,” a PCB spokesperson said. -AGENCIES
