Ali Gilani appeals people to participate in election protest march on Nov 6

SRINAGAR: Senior Kashmir Hurriyet
leader, Syed Ali Gilani has appealed to people to
massively participate in tomorrow's march to Jamia
Masjid, in occupied Kashmir.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued here
said that the election is no solution to the core issue of
Kashmir but India should give the right to self-
determination to the people of Kashmir for which they
have been struggling for the past so many years, KMS reported.
He also called upon the people of occupied
territory to completely boycott the meaningless
elections and convey a message to the international
community that Kashmiris were not interested in
elections but wanted freedom from Indian rule.
The senior Kashmir Hurriyet leader urged Kashmiris
to make the programme of the Coordination Committee a
complete success and remain united at this crucial
stage of ongoing movement.
Syed Ali Gilani demanded of the UN Secretary
General, Ban Ki-moon to intervene and help resolve the
long-standing dispute of sub-continent in accordance
with the UN resolutions.
The Kashmir was the only hurdle in establishment
of permanent peace in South Asia and cordial relations
between India and Pakistan, he said.
