KARACHI: The wet spell will begin in different areas of Pakistan from Tuesday, said Pakistan Meteorological Department announcing rain forecast on Monday.
According to PMD, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A westerly wave is expected to enter in Balochistan on Monday and likely to affect upper parts of the country on Tuesday.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm along with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob and Kalat divisions.

Rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
