Weather forecast: Cold and dry spell to continue in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Mainly cold and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.


However, rain and thunderstorm with light snowfall over the hills is expected at a few places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Islamabad upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Foggy conditions are likely to prevail at a few places in southern and central parts of Punjab during morning hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning:

Islamabad eight degree centigrade, Lahore thirteen, Karachi sixteen, Peshawar ten, Quetta zero, Gilgit three, Murree two and Muzaffarabad nine degree centigrade. –Samaa/app
