ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday adjourned hearing of cases filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) over receiving foreign funding for an indefinite period.
Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the appeals filed by PTI leaders Shireen Mazari and Asad Umar in his chamber.
It is to mention that the Registrar Office had objected to the appeals for not submitting them to the relevant forum.
Both leaders filed pleas against Registrar Office order which were set for hearing in Chief Justice’s chamber.PTI counsel Faisal Chaudhry pleaded the court to grant more time as he was busy in other cases.
He requested the apex court to grant some time for preparation of case.
The chief justice accepted his request and adjourned hearing of the case.
