Nawaz Sharif’s sons likely to be indicted in Accountability Court today

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd.) Safdar will appear before the Accountability Court today (Wednesday) in corruption cases.


National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed three corruption cases against Sharif family on the directives of Supreme Court of Pakistan in Panama case ruling.
Nawaz Sharif along with his two sons, Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz, is nominated in all three references. And, his daughter Maryam and her husband are only accused in one.

Today, Judge Mohammad Bashir will hold 12th hearing of Avenfield Properties and Alazizia Steel Mill, and 13 hearing of Flagship Investment reference.

Meantime, two NAB's witnesses Sidra Mansoor of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Jahangir Khan of Inland Revenue Department will record their statements in the case today.
