SEHWAN: The main suspect Khan Noohani, in the Tania Khaskheli murder case, has been arrested from Balochistan more than ten days after he committed the murder of the student.

According to details, Khan Noohani, who is accused of murdering 19-year-old student from Sehwan Tania Khaskheli for turning down his marriage proposal, was arrested by police from Balochistan's Dareji area.

IG Sindh confirmed the news and said that Khan Noohani was being sheltered by a political personality in Dareji.

"Khan Noohani was handed over to the police after it was guaranteed that he would not be killed," said IG Sindh.

Family members of Tania, including her sister, accused Khan Noohani of killing her in their house after she turned down his marriage proposal.

According to Tania's sister, Noohani shot her in the face and said that if she would not marry him, then he would ensure that she does not tie the knot with anyone else.

Tania Khaskheli's father has claimed that he has been receiving threats from Khan Noohani, who enjoys political clout, and that his daughters are not attending school for fear of their lives.

The Sindh High Court took notice of the 19-year-old student's murder on Saturday and ordered the investigating officer to submit a report pertaining to the matter by September 19.

Tania Khaskheli belonged from Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah's constituency in Sehwan Sharif.
