ISLAMABAD: Ayesha Gulalai's former assistant Noor Zaman alleged on Monday that he was in possession of evidence proving the MNA was involved in corruption.
A few days after Ayesha Gulalai came forward with startling allegations targeting PTI Chairman Imran Khan, her former assistant has now claimed that he had evidence of the MNA's corruption.
According to details, Gulalai's former assistant Noor Zaman claimed that he was also involved in corruption with Ayesha Gulalai. Noor Zaman stated that he would provide evidence of her corruption to the Ehtisab Commission.
Noor Zaman claimed that he had remained silent about Ayesha Gulalai's financial corruption since she had promised her son an employment as a government servant.
"Neither did she give me any money nor did she have my son employed," he said.
Ayesha Gulalai had held a press conference last week in which she had alleged that PTI chief Imran Khan used to send her inappropriate text messages.
Gulalai alleged that she had first received the inappropriate message in October 2013 when she had joined PTI. After her accusations, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi formed a parliamentary committee to probe the allegations.
Meanwhile, PTI chief Imran Khan welcomed the initiative by the prime minister to initiate a parliamentary probe into Gulalai's accusations.
Imran said that he would accept the investigation if it was conducted by forensic experts and stated that data from Ayesha Gulalai and Amir Muqam's cell phones should also be included in the investigation.
