ISLAMABAD: Sharif family and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar have moved Supreme Court of Pakistan with objections against the final report of the joint investigation team saying it transgressed its mandate.

During the first hearing of the Panama implementation case, they also pleaded with the court to discard the inquiry report as the interrogators behaved in a prejudiced manner.

According to their petition, the JIT did not fulfill all the legal requirements and it behaved in a partial and partisan manner.

Khawaja Haris, the counsel of Sharif family said in the petition that the JIT members behaved in an unjust way; hence, the court should dismiss the report.

They also requested the court to make public the volume-X of the JIT report.

It should be mentioned here that the JIT report leveled serious allegations against Sharif family regarding forgery, perjury, corruption, and concealment of assets.  –SAMAA
