PSP worker gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: An elderly worker of the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) was gunned down on Monday by unarmed assailants while another was critically injured. 

Terrorism in the city resumed with yet another firing incident when a PSP worker by the name of Nadeem was shot to death by assailants in Orangi Town.

According to police, Nadeem was shot by assailants on a motorcycle who fled immediately. Nadeem alias Maulana immediately died on the spot while another worker Rashid was also critically wounded in the incident.

An investigation into the incident is underway as police recorded statements from eyewitnesses and gathered evidence from the crime scene.

9mm pistol shells were also recovered from the crime scene where Nadeem had been shot.
