ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzaib on Monday dismissed rumours that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had tendered his resignation.
"Rumours regarding Chaudhry Nisar resigning are baseless," she said. "He will disclose details himself in a press conference," she added.
Speaking to SAMAA TV, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed said that Marriyum must be telling the truth since Nisar would have resigned already if he intended to.
"He (Nisar) has been hanging in the middle since quite some time now," he said. "Nisar should live with his conscience."
