Two terrorists killed in Lahore CTD action

LAHORE: Personnel of security forces foiled a terrorism plan in Lahore and killed two operatives of an outlawed terrorist organization in a Lahore area of Saggian Bridge on Monday.


According to the CTD spokesman, intelligence sources gave them a tip-off that four terrorists are entering Lahore with a plan to target the sensitive installations.

Standing on picket, the CTD team intercepted four terrorists riding on motorbikes; but, they opened fire at the security men.

In retaliatory fire, two terrorists were killed and two others managed to flee the scene.

Police recovered various explosive devices and weapons including detonators, Kalashnikovs, and pistols.

The CTD kick-started the search for the absconding terrorists. –SAMAA
