Weather system expected to bring rain in Pakistan’s Northern Areas

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological office issued an advisory stating that a weather system was soon about to enter into the country’s system which could trigger rains in the Northern Areas from Tuesday. 

According to the Met office, a weather system is about to enter Pakistan starting Tuesday which will trigger rains’thunderstorm with gusty winds in the country’s Northern Areas during the next two days.

The mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir are expected to receive snow in the upcoming two days. Rain is also expected in KP (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Zhob, Quetta, Gujranwala divisions and Islamabad are also likely to receive rains on Tuesday and Wednesday.

While light rain is expected in Islamabad on Thursday March 23, clear sky conditions along with dry weather will prevail in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.
