KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on April 4 across the province to mark the 38th death anniversary of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
All offices working under the provincial government along with courts and educational institutions will remain closed on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the founder of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former Prime Minister of Pakistan who was hanged on April 4, 1979 for the murder of a political opponent.
Every year, on his anniversary, thousands flock to Garhi Khuda Buksh at his grave to pay tribute to the deceased leader.
