Hajj scandal: IHC clears Hamid Kazmi, Rao Shakeel of corruption charges

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) absolved former federal minister for religious affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi, former Director General Hajj Rao Shakeel, and ex-joint secretary Raja Aftabul Islam from all corruption charges in Hajj scandal case.


According to Samaa, the IHC Justice Muhsin Akhtar Kayani delivered the ruling of Hajj corruption case and annulled the verdict of Special Judge Central exonerating the people accused in corruption.

It should be mentioned here that Central Judge Special Court awarded 14 years in prison to Hamid Saeed Kazmi who challenged the ruling in the IHC. –SAMAA
