Intensifying security at shrines and mosques countrywide, authorities on Friday closed almost all shrines in Karachi including the shrine of sufi saint Abdullah Shah Ghazi, a day after a suicide bomb left more than 80 people dead at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine in Sehwan city of Sindh. The shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi was also targeted by two suicide bombers in Oct 2010.
