ISLAMABAD: Two political figures of Punjab have decided to join opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), reported SAMAA on Wednesday.

Former federal minister Hamid Yar Hiraj and former MPA Muhammad Yar Hiraj have decided in principle to join Imran Khan’s party.

Expressing confidence in Imran Khan’s leadership, Hiraj said that the PTI leader was a ray of hope and champion of politics of change. “We have decided to join his caravan for the sake of country’s progress and prosperity,” he said.

The former PML-Q leader said he fully supports Imran Khan’s struggle against the country’s outdated political system.

Hamid Yar Hiraj was elected as a member of National Assembly during 2002 elections on PML-Q’s ticket and later served as federal minister. – SAMAA
