Amber Shamsi asks how Naya Pakistan’s action against banned outfits will be different

The Sindh and Punjab governments sealed and took administrative control of countless mosques, seminaries and welfare institutions run by banned outfits Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) and its charity wing Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation on Wednesday.

Amber Shamsi, the host of SAMAA TV's programme Sawaal,  she talks about the debate in the past over bringing banned outfits into the mainstream.

“How is it possible that this House takes a unanimous decision and the state implements a diametrically contradictory policy when it comes to banned outfits?” Bilawal had questioned in today’s National Assembly session.

Shamsi shows a clip of his speech and talks about Hafiz Saeed and Maulana Masood Azhar. She asks how Naya Pakistan’s action against banned outfits will be different and what the future holds for Saeed and Azhar.
