House of wings (HOW) is a casual and well-designed double storied café, known for its authentic chicken wings and steaks. It’s located on 31C stadium lane 2, Phase 5, DHA, next to Chatkharay (khadda market).
Usually you must have tried barbeque wings, honey mustard wings, buffalo wings, wasabi wings. House of Wings brings you a whole new variety of exquisite flavors all the way from USA. Their wings are definitely something you have never tried anywhere in Karachi as yet.
House of wings imports all their ingredients and spices from USA, except for the vegetables. The recipe of the wings is inspired from America, the flavors of the rub applied on the wings are inspired from different parts of American states.
The good thing about this place is that they have tried to maintain the standard of quality products used in their food. The buns, water and vegetables used in their dishes is bought fresh on daily basis. Even the wet tissues are imported from Virginia.
Chicken wings usually have a bad reputation as a bland messy unsatisfying appetizer. Well it’s time to intervene. House of Wings makes char-grilled, tender wings doused in homemade spices and sauces that gives you an immense tangy sensation at your first bite.
We tried two different flavors of wings, Texas dry and New Orleans. That one thing common in both the flavors was a lemony kick on our very first bite, like it was literally electrifying and the spice level was good enough to fuel our taste buds. The haze of the spice could be felt as we swallowed each bite. If you are a fan of spicy and tangy flavors, then you’ll definitely love this place.
However, HOW is not just known for their wings, they also serve an amazing variety of artisanal American coffee. The Caramel macchiato and French vanilla flavors were absolutely amazing, somewhat similar to Tim Hortons French Vanilla and English toffee. The flavors were as amazing as they sounded. One of the things I would definitely recommend you all to go and try.
Other than the coffee the dish I would definitely go back for is the Combo sandwich. It was one of those splendid looking old school sandwiches that tasted incredible. My first bite of it took me back to my school days when my mother used to make flying saucer baloney sandwiches for lunch. This mean looking sandwich was loaded with cheese, pepperoni and mortadella. if you are in the mood of having a light old school heavenly sandwich then this is it!
This place serves authentic Mexican and American appetizers, savory and sweet items. Overall house of wings has a laid back casual environment where you can enjoy with you friends and family.
