Tips to Get No-Makeup Look

No make up 1

You need not to be surprised to read the topic as it is not surprising at all if you are fashion savvy. This is the most sought after trend today if we talk about make up. Gone are the days when women looked cakey with loads of makeup. The new trend is ‘less is more’. The new style of makeup is termed as ‘no makeup look’ which is the favourite look of working women and students alike. Even celebs are flaunting this look quite often. How can we create this look? Here are few steps to achieve this look perfectly.  It’s all about a fresh glow and allowing your natural beauty shine through. It also feels lighter and letting you to breathe a little easier and worry less about touching up throughout the day. These simple steps are easy and quick to do. With the right products and procedure, you can make the most of your natural beauty without wearing a ton of makeup.

Step 1: Perfect Your Skin

step 1

To follow a regular skin care regime is always important. First Wash your face with cleanser and a cloth to gently exfoliate your face. Exfoliate regularly. Also, drink lots of water for a healthier, brighter skin. If you’re dehydrated, your skin will look and feel dry, too. Don’t hold back on sunscreen just because you’re going for lighter makeup. The best choice is a lightweight, oil-free sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Sun protection

Step 2: Moisturize and Even Out Skin Tone

The most natural way of even out skin tone and conceal your flaws is with a tinted lotion, contains sun protection.  Apply it like a basic moisturizer. Skip the heavy foundation and even out your skin with a healthy dose of sheer color from a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. The key is to let your natural skin shine through, not completely cover it up. Blend with clean fingertips.

Step 3: Use Powder If Needed

Powder 3

If your skin gets shiny or oily, follow with an oil-absorbing powder. If your skin is very oily, skip the tinted moisturizer and use only concealer and powder. Use a brush and apply powder in a circular motion; this will give you a non-powdery look and an excellent cover-up.

Step 4: Pick a Warm Cheek Color

cream blush

Cream blushes in warm peaches or pinks give a natural and subtle flush on the cheeks. Cream blushes are great for creating a natural look. Gently pat and blend on the apples of your cheeks. This will last all day and won’t give a cakey look like powder blushes. For the most natural look, avoid shimmery products.

Step 5: Define Your Eyes and Lips

Do your makeup in daylight, if possible and make sure that you are using the lightest touch. Comb and fill in empty spots in your brows. Neat, groomed eyebrows are a must.

Shade Eyelids

EYESHADES

Use a soft, brownish tint. It will enhance your eyes’ natural contours. Apply a light neutral eye shadow to define your crease. It will make people notice your beautiful eyes, not your eye shadow.

Enhance Lashes

Properly defined lashes are essential, even for a no-makeup look. Curl lashes and apply mascara.

Elusive Lips

Choose a pretty, long lasting tint for your lips. The shade should match your lips exactly. Concentrate it in the center and blend out.

The natural look is all about a perfect skin. The right products will enhance your skin’s natural tone and texture, for a perfect and glowing complexion. It looks stylish and quite wearable. This barely-there makeup look can enhance your personality and add style to your over-all look.
