A Muslim sociologist, Susan Carland, rising from Australia has come forward with a unique motive of donating a single dollar in charity as per hate tweet she receives. Strange but true indeed! Since the time she has pledged for the noble cause, she has been forced to donate more than thousand dollars.

Wife of 'Fairfax' columnist and the host of 'The Project' Waleed Aly is all set transforming the mindsets of people who use social media to kick off a verbal war against Muslims. Like majority muslims dwelling abroad, she actively receives numerous tweets and messages pointing at her attire, believes, often do not restrain from telling her the preconceived notions prevailed about Muslims in the foreign world that they are extremists, love opression, war, genocide and all wrongs.

Susan initially tried her best to answer  them with all that she thinks as a muslim and interested in doing but it turns out to be the wild goose chase. Not just that but the online abuse also included requests to leave Australia, insulting remarks on appearence, 'Jihadist' label and what not!

But against all odds she rose with a calm reaction deeply rooted with her faith, not letting others vigorous opinions defining herself. At last she defined herself as a real muslim according to the teachings of Islam in which eviul is not responded equally but with good. This worked out for her where blocking, muting and ignoring didn't.

There and then this idea of donating one dollar to UNICEF for a single hate tweet struck her. Helping the poor children makes her heart satisfied in response to the virtual hate. Every ghastly tweet gives her the courage to register another installment for needy lads out there.

It is rightly said that hate can't evacuate hate but love can do that. Lets hear it from Susan here.
