Three brothers were shot dead over a land dispute in Ghotki’s Umeed Ali Pitafi village on Monday.
The police said that they were killed by their cousins Anwar Ali, Safdar and Akhtar. The suspects managed to escape after the incident. Three people were injured and have been shifted to a hospital in Daharki.
The police said that the cousins had been fighting over a piece of land. On Sunday, they scuffled after one family’s animals were found grazing on the disputed land.
When the animals wandered onto the same land again on Monday, Anwar and his brothers opened fire on their cousins.
The deceased have been identified as Sonu Pitafi, Allahbatayo, and Khalu Pitafi.
