Unidentified men robbed former Olympian Islahuddin in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area on Tuesday, the police said.

The former hockey hero told SAMAA TV that he was outside a mosque when three armed men came to him and took him hostage at gunpoint in his own car.

They kept driving the car into the streets and made Islahuddin sit in the backseat. The suspects took his cellphone and cash before leaving him and his car near Safoora Chowrangi.

The police said they were checking CCTV footage of the area to identify the criminals.

sadly Pakistani’s have no respect left for our National Symbols. Our ignorant politicians (I mean all the idiots in PDM) who were supposed to lead the nation by example over the past 5 decades have taught people only self-entitlement and disregard for civic responsibilities. They keep pandering about being saviors of democracy. But in truth, all they have done is steal from the nation and in turn teach the nation that only thieves, con artists, and fraudsters prosper in this country. Under their watch Our Quaid-e-Azam’s home in Karachi was reduced to a garbage disposal area, They have largely neglected the upkeep of all of our historical monuments that have either been reduced to rubble or in the process of decaying into nothing. PDM’s most disgusting behavior is the constant insults they hurl at our National sports symbol Imran Khan. Imran Khan is a national sports Hero and as such he should be given due respect. But the moment he stepped into politics these PDM changed their tone like a snake changes skins. Their respect for him only existed as long as they believed he was beneath them and someone they could use as a pawn. Such poor behavior on our leader’s part is the reason why Pakistani’s are progressively becoming a nation of ill-mannered, belligerent, self-entitled, Vain, lying, cheating, unreasonable fools who value money over knowledge, Posturing over religious Honor and nepotism over merit or talent
