Three children drowned in River Chenab near Multan Sunday afternoon, according to rescue officials.

Of the three children, the body of a 10-year-old boy has been retrieved from the river and has been shifted to a hospital.

The rescue team is conducting an operation to find the other two children.

The children had visited the river with their families for a picnic.
