A shopkeeper and his son were arrested on Thursday for secretly filming a woman in their changing room and blackmailing her in Gujranwala, according to the police.

The accused, identified as Aslam and Omar Aslam, own a garment shop in Satellite Town. When the woman went into the changing room of the shop, hidden cameras recorded her.

Aslam then showed her the videos and started blackmailing her. “He threatened to make the videos viral on Facebook and other social media platforms,” the woman’s brother said.

He added that his family has already paid Rs120,000 to the shopkeeper but he kept threatening them after which an FIR was registered.

The accused men have been arrested and remanded into police custody for 14 days. The police have also sealed the shop.
