Truck impounded for supplying expired drinks to Pakpattan shopkeepers

A truck carrying 2,100 litres of expired cold drinks was impounded Tuesday morning in Pakpattan. It was supplying these drinks to various shopkeepers across the city.

The operation was conducted by the Pakpattan district administration on a tip-off from the intelligence sources.

Assistant Commissioner Khawar Bashir said every drink bottle was disposed of and the truck owner was fined Rs20,000.
