PPP leader Sharjeel Memon has recommended imposing a curfew for 15 days across Pakistan to curb the rising coronavirus cases.

In a Twitter post on Friday, the politician asked the federal and provincial governments to consider imposing the curfew urgently.

Pakistan’s coronavirus tally has crossed 63,000 and officials are urging people to stay at home. As of Thursday, nearly 1,300 patients have died as well.

The country is, however, slowly resuming operations of its industries, markets and offices with SOPs. Prime Minister Imran Khan believes reopening businesses is the only way to let people earn their livelihood amid the pandemic.
