An officer posted at the Pakistani Embassy in Ukraine’s Kyiv has been removed from service for sexual harassment.

Waqar Ahmad, a BS-18 officer, was posted as the first secretary at the embassy. He was charged with gross misconduct, “conduct unbecoming of an officer and gentleman and conduct prejudicial to good order and service discipline” according to a notification issued by the Foreign Office.

He has also been charged with sexually harassing a local cleaner/messenger, abuse of authority, creating a hostile environment and unlawful termination of a local employee.

The Foreign Office found him guilty of the charges and has removed him from service under the Government Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973.
