Officials seized 5,500 tonnes of wheat from three warehouses in Pakpattan.

The hoarded wheat was found during a series of raids in the past 24 hours.

The authorities are working to counter hoarding and profiteering. Raids are being conducted on tip-offs and intelligence.

The suspects fled during the raids and criminal proceedings will be initiated against them.
