NADRA announces extension in CNIC expiry dates amid coronavirus outbreak

The National database and Registration Authority has extended the expiry date of all CNICs due to lapse between September 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

In statement issued on Tuesday, NADRA instructed all regional headquarters that CNICs expiring between the above dates will be valid till July 1, 2020.

They said that any request seeking amendment in the identity card could be made via the online portal.
