Three people died and around 42 were injured as heavy storms and rains hit Peshawar Tuesday night.

The torrential rains damaged properties in Peshawar and its surrounding areas causing roofs and walls of houses to cave in.

Heavy rain that began Tuesday evening triggered flash floods, turning some streets into raging rivers, toppling trees and causing electricity outage as number of feeders tripped in different areas.
