Over the years, the Western world has linked radicalism and extremism with Islam and Muslims, Prime Minister Imran Khan said. Talking to Islamabad-based Ambassadors of the countries belonging to the Organisation of Islamic Corporation, he said that people in the West can't distinguish between an ordinary Muslim and a radical Muslim. "They link every blast or suicide attack with Islam without realising that it has nothing to do with the religion," the premier pointed out. All the Muslim countries should come together and eliminate this Islamophobia from the West. "I believe terrorists have no religion and there's no such thing as radical Islamists," he said, adding that this is the message Muslim states need to convey. "No society in the world should be judged based on extremes," the prime minister said. Talking about the disrespect western countries have shown towards Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he said that the western minds don't understand the love and respect Muslims have for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). "Every few years there's some sort of a comment, book, or caricature that insults Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and when there's a reaction from the Muslim world, they say we don't understand freedom of expression and are narrow-minded." The PM said that the primary target to gather Muslim states was to tell the West that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is someone who lives in our heart and no one can ridicule or mock him under the garb of freedom of expression. "I know these people. I know they don't understand religion the way we do," the PM said, adding that Muslim countries should come together to defeat Islamophobia and the two raise awareness regarding Islamic radicalism. This will not just benefit us but also promote harmony, Prime Minister Imran Khan added. Follow SAMAA English on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

A very good initiative by PM IK but rest assured OIC will not budge and will not convey the message to their masters sitting in the West because if we look at the Arab world then we will see that they have investments, luxurious villas, and apartments in Paris, London, and various other European cities and in North America. Their shopping list is not complete unless they pump all their money into European outlets, their security is provided by the West so how would these Arabs go against their Western masters? I don’t think so. The only thing that could be done is to dissolve OIC and make another Islamic block consisting of mainly Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Iran, Qatar, Palestine, etc.

Just read about Marine Le Pen, the callous french politician, if Macron seems too liberal and friendly towards muslims then frenchies they might look towards her. I mean natioanlism sells.

I hope we can address france’s separatist concerns and hope the broken bridge can be mended. We should perhaps win hearts and minds as well.

As far as Arab world is cocerned just like we rely on China for security they rely on US. So wave of antiwesternism doesnt suit them.
Since then local people would start seeing govt as slaves of west.

May Allah guide the french and us as well.
