Aerial firing as police, shopkeepers fight in Karachi’s Saddar

Law enforcers were allegedly asking for freebies

Shopkeepers and policemen fought in Bara Market in Karachi’s Saddar on Thursday afternoon. 

The police fired in the air several times before leaving the market.

The shopkeepers said the police came to ask for free things and got angry when the shopkeepers refused.

Police officials are investigating the incident and say the policemen had gone to the market to purchase some items.
