The PTI government reshuffled the federal cabinet on Friday and made Sheikh Rasheed the interior minister.

Azam Swati is now the federal railways minister.

Ijaz Shah, the previous interior minister, will be replacing Swati as the narcotics minister. Hafeez Shaikh, previously an advisor, has been made the federal finance minister.

Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Faisal Sultan are also expected to be made federal ministers.
