Watch: Sewerage water floods Peshawar’s Khyber Teaching Hospital

It was caused by a burst pipeline

Sections of the false ceiling at the Khyber Teaching Hospital in Peshawar collapsed after a water pipeline burst. 

A video of the falling ceiling went viral on social media. It showed panels falling to a puddle of sewerage water on the ground. The pipeline burst in the ceiling of the main ward's entrance.

The building is new and was made less than a year ago.

The administration has started the repair work and has sealed the area.
