Dengue surveillance team attacked in Rawalpindi

A dengue surveillance team came under attack near Rawalpindi’s Holy Family Hospital on Tuesday, police said.

The surveillance team came under attack after it found dengue larvae in the vicinity, the police said.

The law enforcers said that members of the surveillance team, Bilal, Qadir and Obaid, were manhandled by employees of a private company.

However, the police have not yet received a complaint from the surveillance team members.
